Two schools of thought.
1 - has a job that is paid for.
2 - has a job that is highly qualified, needs letters after their names, makes them a cut above everyone else, and in turn, a better fuck. |

Or......
3 - has no job but thinks putting 'professional' on their profile and turning up to meets in a suit they bought ten years ago for their mum's fifth wedding would make them more appealing.

"I work, am I professional? "
You you turn up on time, not use sub standard materials, not spend all day perving fab profiles on work computers and only steal non essential stationary items?
If so......yes.

A question....
What does ‘professional’ mean on Fab?

Search ‘professional’ in the forums and you’ll find posts where the two tribes of Fab have previously argued about this topic. |

"Hhhhm food for thought.
Moreconfused.com
Lol "
We can summarise the arguments.
Argument 1: The Professional: we’re a nice middle class couple with a good lifestyle. We’d rather like to meet someone similar who we have something in common with.
Argument 2 : The Non-Professional: I don’t care what you do or what you’re like. It’s only fucking and anyone who thinks otherwise is a snobby cunt.
We might have missed some subtlety in our description . Lol |

How many letters or groups of letters is deemed acceptable?

Likes you to know they have not just a job but one that, given half an opportunity, they will bore you to tears about. Sigh. |

It means no chavs
Example - If you smoke millions of fags or vape.
Shop in Sports Direct and Aldi / Lidl.
Wear Primark see through leggings and fake Ugg boots.
If you haven't seen a dentist in years.
There are so many examples ...
I don't judge but the ' professionals' do |

For most people I suspect it would mean no chavs, Jeremy Kyle types, missing teeth and Jon centre signing on types.
As judgemental as it may seem, there is still a class system that many follow. |

It's not a CLASS system. A culture system a behavioural system , an income and lifestyle system or maybe a social system but it's not a CLASS system in this day and age.
Will all the inverted snobs drag yourselves into this century. It's been possible for 'working class' people or non working to join the ranks/enter a profession for decades.
Get over yourselves and your blinkered vitriol. |

Bit angry aren’t we?
Class, culture or behavioural, whichever word you prefer doesn’t change the fact that we as human beings judge certain types and use the word professional as a filter. |

Professional to us means, you posses a qualification which you have worked or studied for.
For example - accountant, lawyer, nurse etc
Not, supermarket worker, gardener.
Similar but slight differences. |
