how many folk love them, or hate them.. i just love them myself. some folk tell me they are slimy, i always think you could say that about a fried egg... now thats really slimy..

Reason mushrooms end up slimy is people wash them under too much water. Best just to wipe them with a damp bit of kitchen roll or a cloth as they soak up water like a sponge

I like fried mushrooms also I believe they are a good sauce of protein.

I’d rather set my hair on fire and have you put it out with a shovel than eat those disgusting things. Awful smell, taste, texture and appearance. Possibly the only foodstuff I don’t understand!
