I still on occasion say my piece, but I'm well aware most of the core forumites will just ignore me. But in reality I'm here for me .... so I'm far from worried about it |

No, I avoid them, because they're boring lol.

To be honest most of that type of thread aren't posted by the regulars anyway - I see no harm in them if they're treated as a bit of fun and maybe the occasional ice breaker but I very very rarely get involved in them as to be honest they're mostly pointless and full of people skipping over each other to get the attention of someone further upthread  |

I’m talking mainly about the snog, marry type threads.
Others I rarely bother with because, like this one, it’s often plagued with regulars filling it up with tail chasing crap between themselves. The decent comments are drowned out and/or ignored. |

We’re forum tarts not forum snobs. We view the forums as a bit of fun so will partake in the ritualistic humiliation of the fun threads. We have probably posted in most types of thread. Occasionally we will post on a serious topic but if we wanted to debate seriously about such matters then there are more appropriate platforms that we would use for such debates. The fun threads have their place on here and can and have been used as great tools to initiate introductions to other people. |

If you think its an introverted thread just ignore it if you look closely the majority of the forum uses do ignore that type. Some will always flog a chums thread but they are easily ignored in reality. |

They are meant to be fun and a laugh, but I don't find them fascinating. Please don't take it personal though because I am sure a few others would be getting skipped. Although in the past I did read the OP's started to say things like "Don't skip" "play nice" etc

I make some god awful posts but all are welcome always, other posts I avoid because the topic is just annoying, attention seeking or plain nasty to others, some posts I avoid because I have an opinion that won't be heard amongst the sheepish facebook fuelled gang/sheep "knowledge" being offered....
Just do it or don't but its also OK to be a regular using the forums on any way you choose with your buddies too... And it's OK for ppl not to agree with you, that's what I like about it, occasionally there's smw healthy thought happening in here...
