About 20 years ago I was in a card shop and saw a valentines card for the pets.
Also Valentines cards for family members! Seriously!
That’s when I realised how commercialised it had become. And that some people have strange relationships. |

I saw, in Marks and Sparks, a Valentine's card with "To the world's greatest Son" presumeably mums send them to their son's - seems a little odd to me; I get it that a mother will love her son but, I've always thought of Valentine's day being a way to express romantic love. |

Pooch just wrote me a well worded essay on how commercialism is hyjacking cultural and historical events .
Anyway the Welsh Patron saint of Lovers , St Dwynwen. It was her day in January , so we did the whole card and chocs thing then  |

Have you never had a pet who loved and cherished you?
My dogs hang on every word and stick to me like glue.
Ok, it's because they think they are going to get some food from my mouth and I emit a lot of body heat, but I tell myself it's because they love me.

My dogs hang on every word and stick to me like glue.
