I’ve moved!

And what a breath of fresh air it is! Literally.

I left the big smoke in the middle of January and moved up north. I can honestly say it’s been one of the best decisions of my life.

Just exploring the ‘scene’ up here a bit now too.

Had some lovely welcomes.

Lucky you Harrogate is a lovely town yet still close to Leeds if you need a city.

It is lovely. Pannal is a top golf course and Oakdale nearby too.

Welcome to the neighbourhood OP.

It really is a lovely place and people are so friendly.

There are frequent socials in Leeds, York and beyond plus the two clubs in Leeds are splendid.

I do like it up here but I miss Hertfordshire. And London. The "big smoke" is so fantastic and vibrant.

The Xmas lights up there are really good, the Chinese next to the Wetherspoons is very good. Avoid Jamie's, it's shit

Betty’s is always a delight even if you don’t bump into Alan Bennett having a macaroon.

I’m also partial to breakfast at Weetons or Filmore and Union depending on how I’m feeling.

True. I do love that I’m in the countryside but can be in London in 45 minutes. Can’t beat London. Best city in the world
