Of all of mine the half leg one where it wrapped around onto the shin , wowser that made my eyes roll and had to ask artist to stop frequently

My ribcage has been the worst so far... not sore on the ribs, but had the most awful sensation that my sternum was being crushed and felt I couldnt breathe... weird as hell... never again

Love all my tats... gates of hell and demon on my back is probably my favourite but the side (ribs) was definitely the most painful

I've got a fair few now and just started on my thigh piece. I'm one of those weird ones that doesn't think they hurt, I quite like the pain

My ribs were the most tender afterwards though but it does go from hip to underarm

The one that hurt the most for me was the big one I had a coss my belly, tried not to tence up when he did it but it frigging hurt.. The weirdest one or the weirdest feeling I had was when I had the one in the top of my neck at the back right on the spine.. Proper weird feeling..

By far the most painful is pacman on the back of my foot just above the heel, went over it 3 times on different sittings because the colour wouldn't take and it's the only one that's brought me close to tears. The rest of my leg I found mostly relaxing and falling asleep on. Have 3 sittings coming up after recently starting an outer space themed sleeve

Has anyone had a 'ring' tattooed on their finger?

I would love one but not sure how painful it would be and i am a total wuss.

I remember when I was getting my tramp stamp done on my lower back - wow! My toes were curling, teeth grinding etc. The spine itself wasnt too bad but when he went out to the sides... eek!

One of my ankle ones was pretty painful, but it was my first and she infilled with outline needle.

Having it re done a yr later was alot easier, my thigh piece I fell asleep

I tapped out fifteen minutes before each rib coverup was completed. The pain coupled with the sensation of my tits crushing my sternum was too much, even for a breathplay fan like me. My kneecaps were fine (although one needs shading in), but moving to the calf was painful.

The shoulder blade killed the other day. I chat throughout as the artist is one of my oldest friends, and always have a giggle with them and everyone there. I always munch on something so my sugar levels don’t drop- but down the sides kill! The spine I have no problems with. I’m become a wimp!! Sob, haha xx

Ribs, left side painful, right side ten times more so, the only tattoo I’ve ever thought about not having done in one sitting.

Pin up leg piece was sore but was 5 & a half hours of work so anywhere would be a bit ouch’y after all that time

My ribs were fine, in fact everywhere has been, apart from my back. That’s killing!! Only managing two hour sessions at a time x

Cant wait for it to finish! The small tattoos I had that it’s covering were fine, but this is a killer!

When it’s done though, having my underboob done, and my lil one designing two tattoos for me for the front of my thighs xx

I have back piece that's been started inspired by Norse mythology. So far its Odin, Hungin and Mungin (ravens) and Fenrir (wolf). I'm adding Thor, frost giant, Yydragsill and Jorgmundr all blended in with an Icelandic back drop lol sorry for the drawn out answer. Just gonna be very proud of my full piece when its finally done

Top Tip for people having their first tattoo. If the bepanthen seems a little too hard and hurts when putting it on. Put the tube in a cup of hot water for a few seconds it will soften it and feel really nice putting it on.

I sat for 5 hours having my sleeve done. Only 3 sessions and it was done. Only cost me my 55 inch 3D tv! Which only cost me £50. Sshhh.

The most painful tattoo I've ever had was the Japanese kanji in the middle of my back .. My ex wifes name .. It was that painful if it had been my first it would have put me off for life ( it should have been a sign. Ha ).. I have been known to fall asleep having a 6 hour session so just goes to show different pain receptors in different places.

I find tattoos and piercings on a lady a real turn on .. Don't know why .? .. We all have our little kinks

The guy did my Odin tattoo in one session, two ravens in second session and Fenrir in the third. Got three more sessions to go now. Thor, Heimdal, Balder and Hel with Jormundgar and the Asgard background linking them all together. Saved for ages for this

Look into Asatro bud. It's the modern day Nordic belief practice

you might find that it strikes a chord within you. Aye I'm hoping the 12 hours I have booked in will finish it but I'm not gonna rush it. It's going to be awesome so it needs to take as long as it takes

The one on the back of my thigh and down over the back of my knee started out OK, until we got to the 4 hour mark. It turned into the most painful yet. I couldn't walk straight for 5 weeks because the scabbing on the back of my knee. Glad I had it? Yes would I do it again? Yes

I've been having tattoos since 1986 . I can sometimes fall asleep during a session and have managed 6 hours in one sitting. However the most painful tattoo was the one in the centre of my back. I literally had tears rolling down my face while having the outline done. The tattooist even asked if I wanted to carry on and stop .. I said not a chance.. I'm not just having an outline done .

The tattoo I was having is Japanese kanji with my ex wife's name .. It should have been a sign .. Lol

They do say women have a higher pain threshold. This was clearly evident when me and a partner both had our nipples pierced
