What horror movie has you gripped in fear and excitement from the first 5 mins of the movie just before or as the title appears?
The intro of Bram Stoker's Dracula is a good one showing you how Dracula became a vampire when he lost his beloved Elisabeth. The music, the imagery and the powerful performance from Gary Oldman makes the intro such a gripping and memorable intro to a classic Horror movie? |

I did say it was the best intro I've seen... not the best film lolol
If you think that is the worst film, you have clearly never seen 'The Parlor' or 'American Mary'. (Tip: don't bother with either)

Omg, that film freaked me out. We used to have this 'video van' drive around the estate on a Friday night and you could hire films from him, I remember hiring that one and Critters, that was a particularly strange film |

The harbour police investigating the abandoned boat sailing into the Hudson River at the beginning of Zombie Flesh Eaters.
Michael Hordern being hacked to death by tramps in a derelict building, while 2 policeman stand and watch, at the beginning of Theatre of Blood. |
