Just noticed a status asking for a back up meet in case the meet they already have arranged doesn’t go through.
Would you happily be a backup?
What are your thoughts on this? |

It doesn't appeal to me but at least they're being honest. I've heard of people who only find out they're the back up when they get cancelled and the person displays a veri from someone else the next day. |

Hell no. And I wouldn’t do that to someone else either.
We book a hotel, (or plan something) and invite someone along with no expectations. If they turn up, cool. If not, we’ve agreed we get to enjoy the night together. I certainly wouldn’t have someone on call as plan b/c/d etc....to have a choice as said above is a nice thought but good god, how does Dave/Tiffiny feel when they find out you’d called 3 other people before them?  |

Happened to me once. I’d not have cared if she’d been honest. Wouldn’t have gone through with it either. What bothered me most was who I got pied for  |

Think it's happened to me before had mees planned a hour before cancelled no probs check there profile later had a verification in last few hours more common than people think |
