If you had a time machine, what point in time would you go?

To the fall of the Berlin Wall. We had a real chance to change the world for the better and we fucked it up.

Early 90's, all those raves to revisit and records to buy. Heaven.

Thank you, and to the others. It was a long time ago.

There are lots of times I could go back to and revisit and times I would want to explore but would face a difficult reception as a woman of colour.

"If you had a time machine, what point in time would you go?"

Do they require car tax, insurance and a relevant endorsement? If so I wouldn't feel comfortable taking it for a spin untill I was legal.

Horsham

Several points in history.

Stop myself from bu6ing the air pistol, that a mate used on me messing about.

In my teens when I came into some money, tell myself what an idiot I was going to be.

Go back to before my grandads funeral, I might have been able to convince my parents to let me go.

Go back to say goodbye to the family dog, she was put to sleep when she was 21 and I missed it.

Go back to anytime in history to spend more time with my mum, she is not desad but I was a typical twat. Too interested in myself growing up, I could have done more things with her when she had better health.

I would go to visit Galileo and show him pictures from the Voyager spacecraft and from all of the other space probes that have been launched, as well as from the Hubble Space Telescope and from the Apollo Lunar missions and from satellites orbiting Earth. I would bring a 12" reflector telescope with me so he could make direct observations.

While in the neighborhood I would show all of the same to everyone at the Vatican.

What the hell, I may as well drop in on Copernicus, Kepler, and Newton as well.

I would go to the library of ancient Alexandria in Egypt to photograph all of the scrolls there so that modern scholars could study them.

And of course, I would witness the construction of the Pyramids whether that involved extra-terrestrial assistance or not.
