Unfortunately most killer won't kill s indefinitely, you need stuff they use on golf courses like Paraquat, but beware it is lethal

Lyphosate should do the trick, or rotivate and pull up as many roots as you can, would suggest waiting untill the frosts are done though.

Lots of hard graft, especially with nettles as they run under ground in all directions manually the best way,

Use Glyphosate, normally sold under the trade name Roundup amongst others.

Unfortunately the stuff available for domestic use is pretty hopeless. You should look for something that contains 360g/l of active ingredient. If you're friendly with a local farmer or landscaper see if you can ponce some from them.

Both Paraquat and Diquat have been banned from use in Europe.

Think i might spray with roundup or similar, then cover with pond liner for a while. Lift it in april and dig up anything that looks alive.

Try Rola Cola, if that doesn’t work get yourself down to the roller disco and forget about your garden worries and skate those blues away.
