So your ideal buffet what would be there?

Any party that does not have cheese and pineapple sticks is not one I wish to attend!

Agreed!! Party hedgehog all the way!

Along with the obligatory egg butty. They're rank and nobody eats them, they just sit there getting all stale and sweaty but they're as important to the party atmosphere as Uncle Knobhead requesting 'Come on Eileen' from the DJ and grabbing everyone up to dance whether they like it or not

Slowly cooked baked beans, with bbq sauce, ketchup and English mustard added. Gently fry some bacon and diced sausages in onion and garlic. Add to beans and continue to slowly cook.

Great on jacket spuds with crispy skins and loads of butter.

A big pot of Irish Stew and a bap always goes well.

All sounds perfect although trout at a buffet is definitely a bit posh. I'd be well impressed if I turned up to a buffet and there was a big trout in the middle of the table.
