If you saw a pic on here and thought the person perhaps had a medical problem? Would you reply and ask if they'd had it checked out? Or just ignore??! |

If I felt reasonably confident it could be something worth checking out, I think I'd write as tactfully as I could to suggest they do so. Most people would probably take it in the spirit intended I think and if they didn't, well at least you tried. |

Depends what I thought it was and whether I had interacted with them before .
So if it was someone I’d never met or spoken to and it looked like they had , warts , cold sores , or something like this , I’d say nothing and block them .
If it was someone we had met or spoken to then yes I probably would mention it . |

I think for me it would depend on how and what we were talking about. |

I'd ignore it. I have no medical qualifications at all and couldn't possibly tell from a photo if a person might have a problem.
If they had an obvious problem with photographic evidence with an embroidery stitch or the dates of the reign of Elizabeth the first I'd feel more than qualified to message with advice though. |

Not your circus, not your monkeys.
Unless you're medically qualified then I wouldn't suggest messaging either.
I do look out for medical gadgets on people though in case I see anyone with the same as me - I'd totally message them. But that's more a solidarity thing than an advice thing.

I'd tactfully suggest checking it out. Receptionist at an old job was checking in a guest. He observeres her prominent nose and jaw and asked her about them....sounds awful ignorant I know....but turns out he was a specialist from the States and he noticed she had a very rare condition ( tumour on the paet of the brain that was affecting her hormones ). It was potentially fatal and her GP had put her recent facial changes and headaches down to coincidence aand migraines from stress. She was operated on in Dublin the following week and after months of recovery was lucky to survive.
Puts potentially embarrassing or temporarily worring someone unduly in perspective. |

Sounds like acromegaly. Bet the headaches were due to a growth in the pituitary gland |

Yes lol"
If that's the case, do you really want to bring your work home with you? It's not your responsibility, you shouldn't feel obliged, but I think it's nice that you'd consider mentioning it.
Do no harm though. |

You hear about Dr’s watching telly and noticing the presenter or a guest has a funny shaped mole and they ring in to pass a message on - that person gets checked out and it turns out they were ill and caught it just in time.
So if it’s like the above scenario, then yeah, if i were medically qualified, i’d gently and tactfully mention maybe they need to see a GP |

I'd like to be near certain that I could do it without causing much distress or anxiety. Pics here may not have been taken in recent days, so information may be irrelevant now. I'd prefer some type of relationship with the person though, which perhaps makes the idea unrealistic. |
