Hello - me again and it isn't even Thursday. Shock horror
My darling Pink is heading down the road of acquiring one of those puppies. You know them? Adorable things that make a mess everywhere. But enough about me.
What we want to crowdsource from the Fab collective is ideas of places to stay in the Lake District or West Yorkshire that are canine friendly. And no we aren't talking doggy style.
Any help much appreciated |

Look on Sallys cottages on Facebook, they were a forever advertising cottages that are dog friendly.
Also there are some caravan parks that are also dog friendly.
Up in the lakes nearly everywhere is dog friendly. |

I think a caravan might be an issue, we wouldn’t want to disturb the neighbours |

"Pink : just to say, even though you think it doesn’t, trust me .. your house will stink of dogs!
"
And yes. I’m aware I’ve just committed Fabicide with 80% of Fab!
They ARE little bundles of joy though! |

We always do Airbnb and tick the section for pets. We are off to the lakes in the summer. I’ll get the details for you xx |

I was referring to a static caravan that has 3 bedrooms, bathoom, lounge and wood burner. |

There's plenty of cottages around Windermere / Bowness that take dogs and a lot of the pubs in Bowness (on the shore of Lake Windermere) are dog friendly.
The Albert, just next to the mini roundabout above the lake is particularly good, I took quite a lot of their dog-friendly ideas into my pubs. The Royal Oak in Ambleside was also particularly good for a few drinks / a meal with the dogs. |
