My wife has a couple, which I’m just about ok with, one was chosen be her fuck buddy a few yrs ago

But some women on here have gone way too far, they have stunning bodies, but far to many tattoos

What’s your opinion on tattoos for women

I loveeeeee tattoos, if I could afford it I’d probably go ‘too far’ (in your opinion) with them.

Fuck what anyone else thinks. I know for me, I get tattooed because I want tattooed (I also love the way it feels getting tattooed) and not what anyone else thinks

It's personal and subjective.

I love tattoos and they are personal things so wouldn't care if someone else didn't like them. There was a woman in the spa I went to at the weekend and she had a thigh tattoo i couldn't stop looking at her. Give me a buxom, curvaceous tattooed girl anytime. Tattooed shorty is a perfect example. Stunning

I’ve got 11 small ones all over and forget they are there...

Had a guy on Twitter last year tell me if he hadn’t seen the tattoo poking out my top on a picture he’d have asked me out...

I said it’s just a tattoo

He said nope he dislikes women with tattoos and that we are cheap and slaggy...

Great eh?

A woman's body, like a man's, is there for that person to do with as they want!!!

May or may not be as I choose for myself, but none of my business what they do.

(I think tattoos are cool, when they suit the person)

I’ve 13/14 and am getting the front of my thigh done next week. I use to hate them. Then when I was getting married I had one in memory of my mum. But then the addiction started.

I personally like people who have them and who don’t. It’s their body. And like Queen said above, if I were rich, I’d be full of them too. They’re beautiful works of art and people have been having them for centuries.

I have a backpiece and a half sleeve so well and truly in the 'too far' category for some.. However, I got my tattoos for me. I designed them, I paid for them and I choose when and who to show them to. They have been a labour of love for many years and a part of who I am.

If others don't like them that's absolutely fine. Each to their own.

Anyone how gets a tattoo for another person's benefit is kind of missing the point of tattoos. Your body your choice. We personally love them and the more the better, they tell a story.

So long as the artwork is good, it adds something for me. If it's not, I don't think it'd effect my opinion of them too drastically.

Its funny. I often think things in my head and then I just leave them there. It's even funnier how men, in a world where women's bodies are constantly policed, think the things in their head should pass their lips for the world to hear.

When I get my next tattoo the first thing I'll ask myself is if it's too much for some random Dave.

Even my ones without meaning, I'm not gonna regret them because regrets are a waste of time that you could be thinking about happy memories!

When I get old and my tattoos get saggy and wrinkly and faded, so what? I'll be old and saggy and wrinkly and they'll still be stories to talk about.

As for women with tattoos, depends on the woman and tattoo doesn't it?

Why isn't it a good look, just because you may not like it, doesn't mean I, or others shouldn't have them done. Those in their 80s now, with tattoos, had to have them done with different inks, needles and techniques. Colour used to run and fade after time. Mine haven't after 15 years

I love tattoos. Not the ones done by scratchers but decent ones from respectable studios.

I class myself as heavily tattooed and plan on having more but not to the extremes of my face and hands.

As for regretting them when I'm older, I'd much rather regret something I've done than something I haven't x

Someone recently told me trans people take it 'too far' when they wear women's clothing if they look masculine because they look ridiculous, especially with their big hands. I shut that person down straight away. And trans people also don't get to police women's bodies. 'Too far' is not an opinion we need to hear. Women don't need to get tattoos that fit in with what you deem as not 'too far'.

Also that same person felt the need to tell me that women with fat tattooed arms should not wear sleeveless wedding dresses. Needless to say, I shut that down too, while I sat there with my fat arms in short sleeves. Maybe I'll tattoo those same fat arms for everyone to see in my bikini.

I am pretty much ambivalent about tattoos as a concept, they are neither good or bad. Individually though they can be either and the same tattoo on different people could create a completely different result.

Like clothes, some suit some people better than others. I would look and feel like a dick with a Mike Tyson style face tattoo but it suits him (others would disagree)

I once saw a lady with a borstal dot on her face and her knuckles tattooed (amongst other things) , she looked amazing because she was obviously quirky, wild and confident. On a different lady it would look completely out of place.

I've seen some really bad tattoos on people that still look fab and beautifully tattoos on people that I wasn't attracted to, I've seen ones that would put me off and others that could draw me to a person and met people that would agree and disagree with all or some of the above. All that really matters is that the person wearing them likes them.

I have plenty ...a full whitby inspired sleeve ...angel wings across my back and several others...it’s a personal choice ..each of mine has a story behind it....if people choose to dislike me because I have tattoos, so be it.

My only problem with tattoos is they make some people look like interesting people....but when you engage with them they are truly boring. So it's artwork on the body which if done well or suits the person gains attention.I prefer no tattoos on a women.

Hiding in the shadows

"I don’t like them and wouldn’t have any but some look nice. Phoenix has a lovely one. Besides I’m too much of a wuss! "

Aw thank you my lovely xx

My Phoenix was drawn by my eldest son, it's very personal, has a story behind it.

25hrs of work... I slept through most of it

"People always say they like 'well done' tatts but not bad ones. What does that even mean?

It’s like anything else in life. You get what you pay for. I’ve only ever used one, she was an artist before opening her studio ..she’s booked 3 months in advance. Kinda like builders and tradespeople I guess, if you can walk in and get a job done straight away, then they aren’t busy..."

My local shop often has cancellations and you can get an appointment within a month. They have a few tattoo artists and they all have very different styles.

My mate has a style that I think tattoo snobs (I don't mean you!) would perhaps sneer at.

I mean tattoo snobs in the sense of those who are even more snobby at tattoo styles than people without any tatts, if that makes sense.

"I loveeeeee tattoos, if I could afford it I’d probably go ‘too far’ (in your opinion) with them.

Fuck what anyone else thinks. I know for me, I get tattooed because I want tattooed (I also love the way it feels getting tattooed) and not what anyone else thinks

My wife’s lol good she has more than you.. it’s only when it’s taken too far

Maybe I'll tattoo those same fat arms for everyone to see in my bikini."

Hell yes! Us fat armed tattooed girls should be flaunting them every chance we get!
