Hitchin |
$1000 Wedding.
Mention of Crystal Gayle reminds me of the soundtrack to One From the Heart where she often duets with Tom Waits - an unholy alliance you might think, but no. It's awesome.

"Anyone like the new Miley Cyrus song nothing breaks like a heart? Mind you her godmother is Dolly Parton.....
She sounds very much like Dolly in that one I think."
I thought that too.
Check out the video, it’s unusual given the song is about broken hearts, |

I'm not 100% certain as I'm rubbish with remembering song titles but pretty much everything Carrie Underwood does gives me goosebumps. |

"Country????
Surely the best way to listen to country is with ear defenders on or a bottle of Jack and a handful of barbiturates??"
I listen to country music loud....so I can’t hear people complain about it. |

Sturgill Simpson is one of my favourites at the moment. His last album a sailors guide to earth is a great album.
The song that brought him to my attention was you can have the crown though.

Bradly Cooper sang a few in the movie A Star Is Born. They had Scarlett mesmerised, although it might have just been him who had that effect on her and not his singing!

"Trying to pick things that haven't already been mentioned.
First aid kit are worth a listen as is Chris Stapleton "
Chris Stapleton is brilliant. Going to see him next month in Dublin. Went to see First Aid Kit last year in Belfast. They are good but i've completely went off them. During the gig, they decided to have a chat with the audience. Well, more of a feminist Metoo movement rant against men. Twats! |
