"If you found a live mouse hiding in your trainer what would you do?
Asking for a friend..."
Praise it for its fortitude in putting up with the trainer-stink. |

Live mouse, we’re very unlikely to get one of those here. The kitties will occasionally bring their remnants home and we’ve got a tub of mice in the freezer next to the frozen peas......but live? Nope wouldn’t happen here |

"Just let it out in the garden, It'll probably come back though as the rest of its family are somewhere in your house "
Yes if you see one mouse then for sure you’ve got a few more about in your house , you’ll hear them at night when all is quiet just as you’re dropping off to sleep , then in the morning watch out for the little brown rice bits on your floor |

"Preferable to the one I found in my hair (many years ago).
I'd put it out in the garden, watch it come back in and then give up the trainer as its new home. "
In your hair!!
Who was more scared, you or the mouse? |

Whoops! Meant to post that not send it as a PM.
I didn't care if the mouse was more scared. I was running through the house naked and squeaking!

Give it to a cat or better still look around for droppings find out how it got into house.
A lot of time if you find one there be more.
You would have to get traps and peanut butter.
I had them years got nine in 4 days.

I'd probably re-evaluate my fitness regime.
Cal "
Ha, it was only hiding in the trainer, it hadn't started decorating or moving in furniture! |

The mouse in the trainer isn't your friends biggest problem. Your friend needs to find out how it got into the cupboard in the first place. If it came through the floor or wall then the chances are that it was not alone and there is a high probability that there are mice breeding in the cavities and that they have access to the entire house. I often come across this situation when laying floors or installing Kitchens and it is usually solved be 1. Closing entry access points and 2. Eradication through poison or traps.
Tell your freind "good luck" from me! |
