I feel that my contributions in the forum are becoming non existent and now feel it's becoming pointless in posting.

Why is it pointless? Everyone has a place. 
There's a need for people who post interesting things sometimes, rather than posting banal things every 5 seconds. |

PP I think that you’re too focused on the negative. You will only enjoy your time on here if you do what makes you happy. If you notice you have been overlooked on a thread and then focus on it, that will make it a negative experience.
Focus on the positive, do what makes you happy and don’t dwell on things outside of your control. My honest view x |

How are you measuring the ‘pointlessness’ of your contributions? Based on number of replies? People agreeing with you? Arguing with you? Flirting with you?
Most of the things I write in threads are totally ignored and uncommented on or replied to, high into the upper percentiles.
I’ll just go ahead and post my bobbins anyway! |

Like babs said pp, don't focus on being overlooked, we all face that on the forums. Your contributions are sorely missed when you take a sabbatical especially from the people here who class you as a friend...and there's a fair few of them!

You are one of my favourite people on the forums lovely. You have been my friend for years. I've noticed you don't post as much, but you need to remember, you've been through so much this past year. You are probably feeling like this because of your mood. You have a lot on here who adore you. To me, you will always fit in here.... I for one, miss seeing your regular morning posts and your banter with Bladey. It may take time to to feel you back into it. But you'll get there because you are a trooper  |

It’s not that you don’t fit in, it’s more likely the people you used to banter most with probably aren’t as prolific as they used to be so it looks to you like less people are interested in your post, it has no reflection on you at all  |

Took me a while to get motivated after our four year hiatus.
It was odd at first, but then I remembered why I spent so much time in here before. And was nice to see plenty of familiar names, yours included.
It wasn't for anyone else's benefit really. It was an outlet for me. It doesn't matter what you post, how often, or whether it's serious or humerous. It doesn't matter if your post seems to get ignored or if it stirs a 175 long discussion. It really doesn't matter if you take a break and concentrate on real life. The forums will be waiting.
Worry less about others perceptions and whether any of this really matters and just enjoy it. If it stops being enjoyable log off.

As others have said you’ve had a trying past year and that probably affects your mood. But yes you’re very much liked on the forums and I always enjoy your contributions on threads. I know I’ve had a quiet few weeks on here because I’ve not been well and there seems to have been a lot of illness that’s affecting forumites so regular posters have been missed.

I think the majority of folk who post on the forum may feel like that PP from time to time.
But it’s just a forum on a Swingers site, in the grand scheme of things. It never even really changes. You have a break and comeback and it’s the same stuff, just a different day. So does it really matter?

Tough call. Irish in Dublin - I think Ireland have to be favourites to win, Wales will pip France. Scotland will beat Italy.
As for the tournament I think the Irish will win but it could be very close. England will have to play at their best to have a real chance.

After a few drinks I get into arguments and people ignore me for weeks, but then we all forget about it and we get akong again. But that rumour of that night in the farmers field after the vodka and the garden table went missing Is always in the back of the families mind. |

It’s like when the Stone Roses disappeared then came back, Oasis had stole there thunder and the Roses were seen as passé. You have to stay at the top of your game to keep the pretenders away. |
