A box at end of your bed |
I used a basic package from PlusNet. I can stream movies and do online gaming no problem. I get 14meg download speed with unlimited downloads for £18 a month. I do only used it for internet access. Use my mobile phone for phone calls. Have options to upgrade to faster if I need too and has Great customer care.
It all depends on what your after are you wanting TV, Phone and movies or is it just internet. |

"Random I know haha just thought I'd see if I could get opinions on best broadband providers from some knowledgeable people.
Maybe even benefit us both with a referral, who knows haha "
Im most areas, Virgin has the fastest services available. Personally I've found their advertised speed to be what I receive and have had only a couple of "outages" in 18 years.

I'm on the 100MB Virgin fibre service and regularly get 110. Outages are very few, I can only think of one proper outage in the past 2 years
They do like to keep pushing the price up though until you complain |

First question is, are you able to get a good stable service down a phone line?
Unfortunately not all areas can. We are unlucky enough to live in one of those areas. We looked into switching a few times over the years but every time we’re told that broadband in our area will be very poor service. We have no choice than to stay with virgin if we want to be able to do things like watch Netflix |

I was with EE from the start but their broadband deteriorated to 'unacceptably shite'.
A friend recommended Vodafone fibre - partly for speed/reliability, partly for the fact that there's no blocking (torrents, etc), so I went with them.
Paying £28/month for unlimited 38mb/s but have been getting a rock solid 40 down/10 up, since they connected me.
Saving at least £165 a year, over my previous BT phone/EE broadband combo. |
