Omg!! The posts some ppl put on my local. From asking which bus to take to is Sainsbury's open today? It's like they forgot how the internet works. Of course you cant leave out the ones who complain about other drivers. "Thanks to the knobhead that cut me off on the A41" like really??

I hope your local group is far better than my local.

Well. We got an additional dog poo bin installed at the end of one of the village lanes a couple of weeks back.

London

We have a group for our road. It started when we decided to have a street party, which we hold every year. I think we're unusual, especially in London, in that we actually know and talk to each other.

Our Facebook page has been invaluable. Shady characters have been reported, incidents of thefts etc shared. Our local bobby also shares advice ie lock your sheds as there have been break ins. We also have a local flasher, someone stealing local cats etc. Neighbours have also reported the closure/delays etc at the station, new local shops. Advised when they've received a letter not addressed to them etc. They also asked for recommendations/recommend local trades people.

No complaints about my local Facebook page.

Mine is exactly like that too.

“Anyone know why that ambulance was going down X Street with it’s siren on?”

“When is bin day?”

“Why didn’t the council grit my Road?”

“I rang the Police after a woman let her dog poo on the grass verge”

Stupid people should not be allowed on the internet!
