We enjoyed it, sad to see how some people in this world live, but all in all, not a bad film, it was something different.
PS although I was just about to put a sweet banana in my mouth just before the autograph scene and suddenly got put off ! |

ok
I saw this film over the xmas period.
Thought it was a very well thought out and well made film.
UNTIL
I saw an article in the Express (dont read it myself but at work we recycle newspapers and this article stuck out)
The young lassie that played the young Latika (december 31st 2009 express newspaper)
Her home was demolished for the SECOND time - her looking after her family - and none of the proceeds from the film are helping them.
They live in a shack - or did - and she is waiting for the chairty that looks after her money to giver her and her family somewhere to live.
You KNOW that if she was paid properly that she would donate ALL her money to help ALL the people that are there with her,
Gestapo rules yet still |

I saw it over Christmas too, and watched it because there was nothing else on.
I have to say that I was shocked to find I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a very well made and clever film.
Enjoy |
