Haha nearly 8 months since my osteotomy to my knee feels strange and know long time ago yet feels like yday.
So strange mix of emotions still feel anxious being in work and around people yet it’s nice do my job an feel I change ppl lives. I go back full time work from Sunday which is nerve wracking lol and I still get home from work an feel drained even though I know I need push self to do rehab exercises as don’t wana go backwards. However I do about 8-10 thousand steps in work so do lots already.
Hope everyone has fun an good times |

Can't believe it's been 8months! It's been a long job, but you have done really well. You're bound to feel anxious about going back to work, I think that's normal. Good luck |

From a fellow knee-sufferer, best of luck. Don't forget to practice some important phrases - "ooh, I'm a martyr to me knees", and "we're in for rain, I can feel it in my knee" etc. |

That's great news OP! You might not need to do so many rehab exercises if you're doing a lot at work. Your body will need to relax and repair too. Hope it all goes well. |

Thank you
Sometimes I just don’t feel it like today I ache and feel crap especially knowing I have 6 hr shift later and then tomorrow I go back normal 8.5hr
I worry I shouldn’t hurt an ache like this after 8 months stupid my professional brain disengages when comes to self care |

Keep going. You’re doing brilliantly. The aches and pains are probably due to the amount of exercise your body is getting and given what you’ve been through it’s got a lot of adjusting to do.
Wishing you all the very best |

I hope your recovery continues going well OP!
Like others have said be careful you don't overdo it, give yourself plenty of time to rest. Maybe just do your rehab exercises on days off when you're not doing so many steps while you're still adjusting to being back at work (I work in rehab and you definitely shouldn't overlook the impact fatigue has)! |
