To eat the right things when on a diet. Especially with my job... Feeling guilty for having an Indian last night and a bacon butty just now... any tips? Food on the go tips...

All about the meal prep.

You can take packet of chicken breasts, a vegetable medley, and a packet of rice or pasta, and rock it into enough lunch meals for a week. Season each day differently for a variety of tastes.

Good nutrition starts in the supermarket when you're buying.

I get the salad packs from asda. They're nice. I deliver wholesale to Indian Takeaways and restaurants and get offered free food about 6 times a day. Need more will power lol.

"Intermittent fasting."

Somedays I only eat one meal. That's not the problem. It's what I eat when I do eat.

You've identified your problem which is a start. The next bit is sorting your food so that you don't feel the need to accept the free scoff offer.

Every day I say to myself, I'll make a healthy packed lunch to take with me. Then I get home shattered and forget... I got the right food at home just when I'm out and busy.

Try prepping a whole weeks worth of meals over a quite Sunday, spending two to three hours at most cooking what you like and pack and fridge it in tubs.

Btw, is this one of your song title threads?

I believe "it's so hard" was a hit for the Pet shop Boys.

Read the labels on pre-packed salads properly - any dressings can high in calories and salt content so aren't as healthy as they seem

I work Sundays. In the process of saving so working all I can. I will make some time and do some prep. I'm fully capable as I've worked in so many kitchens and I'm a good cook... just so tired, maybe because I'm not eating good energy food. A good kick up the bottom I need...

Change your mindset, whatever changes to your diet you make, they have to stay for the rest of your life.

Carbs are addictive and damaging. Dump them and vegetable oils
