Anyone watch it or better still tried any of the plans?

I do love January when all the health programmes come on. Thinking of giving the Italian diet a go.

I’ve joined a thing called manvfat which is a 6 a side football league but you get extra goals if you lose weight so your team could lose 3-0 on the pitch but win 6-3 if you all lose weight and it gets you out and moving around which is good

I’ve lost 8kg up to now which is good for me

Find how many calories you burn in a day, knock 300-500 off that amount and eat that. Track your food using MyFitnessPal. It gets addictive, and you do learn how your body reacts to certain foods!

Is that the title of the show? It's worded weirdly

It’s the best one I’ve used! I need to get my logged in streak going again, I’ve been slacking since Christmas.

I've never been on a diet or plan but I know that my jeans are looser in the spring and summer when I'm doing heavy digging in the garden and walking much more. The summer that I helped Mr N do some concreting I could take my jeans off without undoing the zip or button .

So I recommend the concrete and digging plan

Hubby goes to the gym every lunchtime and it works out what calories he’s lost with fitness pal, even walking to the shops you can lose 500 calories! To me that’s a few gin and tonics

Have a look on their website there’s groups all over the country, the first season is quite cheap but it goes up after that to £25 a month which is a bit steep hence why I’ve moved to a new league this season

Best way to do it! I always hop on the treadmill before going out, 700 calories is a bottle of red

I like Mediterranean food so I could do the Italian diet.

Mediterranean is supposed to be the healthiest to follow.

Living in warm countries probably helps too, as I crave carbs when I'm cold.

I gave it up for Jan. One of the contestants did the Italian diet. Lost over 21lbs and had a glass of red each day if needed. In 4 months x

Redhill

Low-carb, grain free and dairy free (like one of the twins) and lots of exercise made me lose 4 stone in 5 months.

I’ve kept it off for more than a year... eating normally BUT with portion control, common semse and the tonnes of exercise remain!

I don’t drink, so fortunately alcohol is not an issue for me

I wasn't asking how to lose weight. I was asking if people had tried any. I've lost 3 stone myself. I find the show interesting.

Know that whatever you do, you will have to do it for life. Whatever your lifestyle is now that’s keeping you fat, change it and never go back.

10 years ago I was almost 21 stones. I’m now as you see in my pics because I gave up carbs and the addiction that goes with them.

It’s all about insulin response and receptors.

Insulin is the fat builder.

That's a generalisation.

You don't know without seeing what people do.

That's like saying only thin people have good sex. But ya know.

I didn't put my weight on by overeating but hey ho. You go and make assumptions about people.

You're one of those. Forum haters.

Oh people are having an enjoyable discussion let's piss on it.

FYI. I developed an illness. I went in hospital a size 12 and came out a 22 for all the medication trials and lack of care.

But OK then and also if you actually researched anything people gain weight for different reasons.

I'm sure I've stumbled against you before on your 'fact' train which actually consists of your own thoughts and Dr Google.

We're done. I think

OK then

The potato diet. Omg I'd be sick. Fitness Pal for us we love it. I tried the cabbage soup diet as featured in the show. Ewwww and not attractive side effects. Good show spurs you on shows like that.
