For purely selfish reasons the late 70s/early 80s - not only could I experience some awesome gigs I missed, but I could also implement a couple of life fixes that I unfixed back then.

For historical interest would have to be the 40s, so I could really see what my Grandad did during the war.

I don't think I would go back. Why would I choose eras where racism was rampant there was not only intolerance to homosexuality but it was a criminal offence and People openly abused people with Spina bifida, Downs syndrome and various other handicaps. No I don't think I would want to be involved in society then it would be far too unplesent.
