That a lot of the stuff that was the epitome of cool when I was in my teens and early 20's is mocked by or shocking to the younger generation now, and that a lot of my cultural references and jokes from my youth are meaningless to anyone born in the 90's or turn of the century.

Realising that I remember more about 80's pop music than I do about why I went into the kitchen just now.

The ten year challenge made me feel old when I saw lots of school pictures being posted by colleagues and clients, I then realised that I'm surrounded by people that were still in school ten years ago. I've never felt so old.

"realizing that people of 35 and under dont know a life without the internet"

Is it really age 35?

I'm sure I didn't have access to the internet until I was about 27.

That's 17 years ago

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Generally, music.

For example, when special anniversary editions come out for albums I remember coming out in the first place. What do you mean it's 30 years since Dr Feelgood????

I remember it. Vaguely (because I'm nowhere near 35 obviously). We didn't get it for some time.

"Becoming a first time nan in April. Excited, but definitely makes me feel old "

I'm not ashamed to say when my eldest called me at work to say she was pregnant with twins. I burst into tears...I'm not an emotional personal at all, but I was overwhelmed, and if I'm honest, not with the joy of being a grandmother, but the confirmation that I was officially old! Daft old bat I know!
