Just send one of these in error (was multi tasking at the time ... big mistake and pressed the wrong button)

Anyways ... what are the thoughts about 'winks' ??

Personally I'd prefer a message every time. I dont understand why you'd wink but not message? Am I alone in my thinking here or do I need to get winking??

We don't proactively wink but will wink back at someone we fancy who winks at us or we may wink at friends in a friendly way just to say hi.

There are a load of winkers on here.

Sometimes on impulse i'll just wink to express appreciation..but send messages if i'm interested.

If we receive a wink and feel some common ground or attraction then we'll wink back and by doing so encourage them to drop us a line.

Rarely do we wink others. No reason just prefer to message personally.

Sometimes I dont mind them and if I like the look of a profile Ill wink back.

Other times they annoy me.

I understand they can be annoying.

I still do them sometimes though, especially if its a profile without much text in it.

I think it can be a decent tool for gauging initial interest.
