The land of grey peas and bacon

What is it with all the threads about benefits and people claiming them. Yes I am guilty of posting comments on them... maybe I need to step away now...

i closed the site after seeing the evil mum had FLAT SCREEN TV story. For the same reason i try to avoid political threads on here, its not worth the slightly dirty (not in a nice way) feeling they leave me with.

I hate the Daily Mail with a vengence, it truly has worsened this country.

I think the bosses of many banks, traders etc have presided over a decade of white collar criminality.

I despise Tony Blair even more than I hate Margaret Thatcher.

I will never buy Sky, a Murdoch paper or hopefully a book.

I think Gordon Brown was a shit to remove the 10% tax rate.

I hate the waste of PFI schemes that are costing us all billions

I believe the railways and buses and most utilities should never have been privatised.

I hate unfairness in public life.

I don't buy pirate DVDs

I think it is detestable when Labour parachute a privately-educated Blairite apparatchik into a deprived working class safe seat.

I get angry seeing the elite that simultaneously sit on the boardrooms of major companies, act as trustees at places like the Royal Opera House and sit on quangos.

I cannot stand the attitude of so many of the British ex-pats I have met in Spain and elsewhere; making no attempt to integrate.

But I also hate seeing people of whatever race or creed play the system to get receive more than a pensioner struggling or a family trying to bring up their kids properly. I don't like it in my own extended family or anywhere else.

We're in the middle of a recession, things are not going good, I know what we'll do, lets kick people on benefits.

There are always people who can rip off the system but the vast majority on benefits do not have a good time, you hear sums like 23K claimed off the state by some single parent with 6 kids, 23 K is sod all, I earn more than that and I only have me to support, hell I'm not loaded, 6 kids no chance.

OK, what do you propose we do, kill them, medical experiments, make the UK the Thailand of Europe.
