I can confirm I talk shit and fart to excess away from the site.
I'm also a connoisseur of making peepsies chuckle in the flesh.

My forum personality is definately me.
Though it may not come across the same way in person. People interrupt, you don't have as much time and space to reply. I'm not usually talking to a crowd in real life.
I hope I am like this, just a bit calmer and less noisy maybe? |

In terms of beliefs, humour, personality etc I'm exactly the same as here - just not as outgoing or outspoken until I'm comfortable and know people.
Which is why clubs are probably not a good place for me as I tend to be a wallflower until someone takes the initiative - once they do and I'm comfortable the biggest problem is putting me back in the box!! |

Not at all - the advantage of here is you're afforded the time to think through what you're saying before you say it - real time I usually think of the right thing to say 5 minutes later!!  |

I try (I honestly try) my best to talk or type the way I would if you were stood right in front of me. Emojis are limited to help me express how I’m saying it, with a cheeky smile or a direct blunt answer. Either way, I don’t try to present another online version of my self. How people think of me if we meet up, I hope wouldn’t be a shock.
However I’ve heard I’m shorter than I look online,...of course i am. I’m on a 4inch iPhone |

I'm a carbon unit in real life, organic, squishy, almost human, with a collection of synapses and random stuff wandering through my mind, that I might share with others who actually get to see the real me.
Here where it's just txt and none of those non verbal indicators that connect people in the real world, I'm far less open, most of the time. After all the real world is so different to hiding behind a screen where it filters out so much that makes any sort of relationship work.... |

I think I'm mellowing and becoming lovely in both in my old age. The forum and my responses are just one particular snapshot of me at a given time, open to interpretation and bias and all sorts.
In new situations I'm a bit ach but I soon find my voice again. Kind of like how I was when I started on here. |
