Well after almost swinging a year now and being on a lot of social media dating sites our parents needed to know what we do from the horses mouth rather than others! Since telling them we’ve found it a lot easier to relax and go for the ride!! How about you lot? |

Pretty much all of my circle know. My family weren’t shocked. I had no reason to keep it a secret. We’re quite open about these things as long as I’m sensible they don’t really care.
I understand why lots of folk don’t divulge that information and that’s also fine. |

For the life of me I fail to see why anyone would want their parents and family to know about their sex life . And there’s nothing more boring than listening to friends who constantly bang on about it too .

I told my parents because my ex husband & his new partner joined here & I didn’t want it being held against me. I wanted them to hear from me & no-one else. They were also my contact when meeting people. But I was actually a rubbish swinger  |

Ours know - including the kids (21+) - but we don't talk about it unless they ask. We find being honest saves us having to make excuses for not being available/going out/needing to know if the kids will be out etc. |

It isn't discussing sex life tho.. it's no different than coming out as bisexual or gay. Plus who wants to lie all the time when they go clubbing? It's not like family/friends shout about it plus it educates and will hopefully dispel the myth that it's something dirty |

Most of our friends and family know. I never told my parents..my mum came out and asked..when I asked her how she guessed..she said your aunt has been to the same club. |

Might save on the excuses for what we're up to but no! 2 friends know but that's it. They were curious but not horrified. Family... Wouldn't discuss sex life with them anyway and it's not like we're bringing anyone home to meet them so no need to tell

Even though mine know I'm on here, might go to the odd party or club ... I'd never tell them details as believe a private life is just that let's face it most people don't sit around and discuss their sexual details  but it is part of my life without any embarrassment! Just feel discretion and secret are separate things ... |

I would say about 1/2 of friends do because they are from the swinging scene mainly ex swingers. The other 1/2 are football mates - so they know I am not innocent but keep out of asking to many questions

As far as I know, no one knows about my Fab/club life. I've never told anyone, other than my ex GF who's now a huge convert to the club scene.
Only reason I told her was it seemed a logical thing to disclose due to a conversation we were having and I trust her implicitly. |
