Is my cooker a time machine?

Belfast

So, on the cooker in the house I moved into there is a button that says 'stop time' next to it. I'm pretty sure there used to be an 'r' next to it that has faded or rubbed off over time.

Should I really take that chance though. What might happen if I'm wrong and time does actually come to a standstill?
