Fat women can look sexy and attractive too. I don't make much of an effort to attract the men on here, as I don't think they deserve it.

As a fattie. I don’t believe it is something that works in our favour. There certainly is a plethora of BBW threads on here yet the slimmer ladies tend to be the most celebrated. That’s the same in normal life so it’s to be expected. I don’t think we larger ladies are taking anyone away from you.

That may be true for some. Especially if you believe all you read on the forum. Which I don't. And even if I did, I've plenty of incentive to lose weight for me. So I did. Can't say that the admirers of larger ladies entered into my decision process.

Before returning to fab I had decided to get myself in to better Shape anyway. For myself, as others have said.

However being on here again and seeing some of the guys, it has enforced my resolve to keep up with that and try harder.

I agree with the others above though, I'd never do it just to look better in other people's eyes though.

I think it should really boil down to how you feel about yourself. If you’re happy with yourself then you will be self confident and self confidence is sexy. Lots of people are very big and also very happy. My weight goes up and down. I’m usually a 14 but right now I’m a 16 and I’m not happy and I’m not as self confident so I am doing something about it. Unlike other things weight is something that can be controlled (in most instances) so as long as you’re happy what does it matter what other people think.

We both swing up and down with our weight, deliberately we should say, bigger in the winter, train hard March till September (two stones we can change by). Fab plays zero part in that process however but, admittedly we both don't like meeting in the winter whtn we're a little bit heavier.

This only from a single man point of view. Maybe single women have a differing observation of over weight men. I don't know, as i don't notice that as much because it isn't anythong that pops up on my news feed or something that i search for.

This may be controversial but this is my personal observations of some but not all. We all know single men out number everyone else. I see many over weight women on fab and some get loads of attention and seem to get meets whenever. However, i personally think that it is an advantage of being in the minority on this site and case. I have zero doubt some guys lower their standards just for a fuck. I also have a feeling these meets and false attraction is confined to Fab. I would suggest that these people would not get together if they met normally outside of this online fab environment.

I think it's only when you're at school, while everyone is immature, that people tend to all fancy the 'hot' ones.

Then everyone matures and starts admiring other qualities in people.

We both not skinny but we gym fit. We train hard 4 to 5 times a week and battle with our weight in the winter. We cut the meeting down when we don't feel self confident. Not bothered about how other see us. Mainly female it is about being comfortable in your own skin to whether it's paraded round. I know many fab friends over size 12 get lots of meets. I've learnt from swinging. Confidence is sexy not about what size. Xx

I've been a size 8 at my smallest and a size 20 at my biggest (not sure what constitutes as "massive"...). And I've always made an effort with my appearance. I just feel better about myself with my hair done/nails/makeup etc. I do these things for MYSELF, no one else.

Regardless of my size, I've never struggled to get attention from men or women in the real world or on here. Personality goes a long way. Trying not to be a cunt has served me well.

Different stroke for different folks and all that. Size really isn't of great importance to me. Nor is the size of other's who are having a fucking fabulous time actually swinging

I love how non fat women think fat women can't get laid. I've been slim and fat. I actually get way more offers from men because I accept and love myself and exude confidence.

When I was slim I thought that was enough to get me through and it wasn't.

Good point - in my family all the men make zero effort and live on wine and starchy and sugary food and stay slim, and all the women have to work their butts off to stay smaller than a house!!

That but also why does making an effort revolve around weight?

I see skinny women doing nothing with their hair or makeup and that's fine.

I am someone who is well put together, and I don't need to make a lot of effort as I know my style. I turn heads. I get approached out and about a lot.

But why does anyone's effort or health or weight become an obligation to anyone else?

See attractiveness in its self is very subjective.

People have different tastes. What's considered attractive to one person might be unattractive to another.

However, what we have tried to do as a society is make it objective and try and make people fit into a media driven idea of attractiveness.

I agree it doesn't, that's just the superficially obvious example quoted. I am sure many of the 'massive' women on fab make a great deal of effort in many ways - in their style, their presentation, the way they interact with people on here, or maybe even their character. There are some very kind and lovely people on fab as well as gorgeous creatures of all sizes.
