With all the talk of the 6 Nations (come on Ireland).

I've tickets to a couple of games so I'll either be singing loudly spilling my beer or standing shouting at the big screen at my local club and spilling my beer!

6 Nations for me is a timely reminder that the Army Vs Navy game is a few short months away. I've only ever missed it twice, this year I'm going. Anyone else?

I only watch international rugby and always Wales.

I've never been and now it's £40 to sit miles away from the pitch I probably won't be going anytime soon.

To me it's one of those sports which is better on the telly. Emphasis on 'sport' not atmosphere. You can't replicate the atmosphere on the TV.

If I watch it pitch level I have no idea what's going on or where abouts exactly they are on the pitch

The right place

I’m very excited for the six nations this year. I think it’ll be close. Although Ireland are looking very good to win it. All the others (except Italy) are looking pretty evenly matched.

Who invited Italy to play?, maybe we should get the Germans to play as well, we might be able to beat them on penalties

Now the jonny....youve had 5 goes at trying to score some points, it's only fair that we give Robbie the ball to have a go even though his team haven't been able to take the ball off you.

I have no idea what you are saying...Is this technical rugby talk that only real rugby fans are able to understand?

I like rugby and used to play it as the hooker and it’s a seriously tough hard sport but my current preference is rugby league as enjoyed that better.but it’s still a great game all the same

I shall be cheering the boys in White wherever they go and wherever I am.

I do think, however, that this is going to be a tough year and it is going to be hard to call a winner.

Ireland are always a class side... Wales and England resurgent in the Autumn... Scotland doing well too.... just as lobg as the French dont win

Not too technical.... Most real northerners seem to get it.

I started my rugby life as a scrum player, but was much better in the wings as I was quite fast and knew how to evade a tackle, push offs were second nature to me

It's only a matter of whether you have 13 or 15 players on the pitch at the start of a game. League was predominantly a Northern game which has spread and is very popular in some countries. Union on the other hand, is the basis of all things oval shaped

I’ve turned down my tickets for Wales v England which would of been unheard of a few years ago. £100 to sit there and constantly have to get up and down for people going back to the bar, they are not there for the rugby just a big p&@s up. The principality stadium is now known as the biggest weatherspoons in the UK.

Should be a cracking contest through, It’s Ireland for the takings and theres probably not a huge difference between Wales, England, Scotland and France. Sadly Italy are just making up the numbers. Perhaps time to give Georgia a try.

Funny, I think league is fast and free flowing compared to union. All I see when I watch union is Kick, line up, throw the ball back in, scrum, scrum wasn’t right so another scrum and another scrum.......... kick, line out, scrum, penalty, scrum...
