Price doesn’t always reflect why is the best.

For example, leg of lamb or beef fillet is gorgeous and really expensive, but it’s not always everyone’s favourite.

Getting to the point. But there are some things in life where I won’t compromise, I know it’s costly but I must pay for what I think is the best.

I will never buy an alternative to Marmite. Apple do make the best tablets and don’t get me started and Makita. just a few examples.

What can you not buy a cheaper (less costly) alternative?

"Champagne not Prosecco."

You can get expensive prosecco and cheap champagne..

That's not really comparable as they are completely different products

I think your dignity would still be intact if you had an iPad, you drama queen!

I have far too many SuperDry t-shirts - just the plain ones, very good quality and much better fitting than a lot of others.

Oh, and I always get upsold to the juiciest looking vine tomatoes in the supermarket.

With you on that one - not just their t-shirts either and not that I don't wear other brands but Superdry are hard to beat on both quality and price and when they have a sale it generally is a sale with proper bargains that are hard to resist!!

Agreed. I started out on their t-shirts but have quite a bit of their stuff now. Have a fantastic winter gilet thing that makes me look like an Arctic explorer, is incredibly toasty and is into its fifth winter and still pretty much looks as new.

Actually have to say their customer services are pretty good too - had a problem with a t-shirt last year (it dyed my skin blue) they dealt with the problem more than to my satisfaction.
