I don’t know exactly how many of us there are on the forums but just for research purposes and maybe to educate people in their choice of words. Does it offend you when people refer to your breasts as fake?

Mine too but didn’t know if I was being sensitive.

To me fake boobs are those plastic boobs you can buy in a joke store.

Enhanced is what they are like with any cosmetic procedure, it’s an enhancement.

Never really thought of it that way to be honest. Because technically they are real.

As above, enhanced is more acurate. Also yes fake makes it seem like a bad thing, since regardless of people's opinions on them, for or against, they are not bad.

For what it’s worth I find cosmetic surgery for WHATEVER reason is perfectly fine and perfectly acceptable to ANYONE if it makes them happy

I have had a boob job and couldn’t give a Fuck if any guy likes the feel more or less than before I had one or comparing me to anyone else’s

When I read those posts from men slagging then off I chuckle silently to myself remembering the messages I have received from them

I love feeling a good pair myself ????????

Does it annoy you when people say your boobs are fake? 11 years on and it still pisses me off!

Fake meaning, imitation not genuine or counterfeit....yes that’s exactly what my boobs are

So I cry myself to sleep at night thinking about all the people that don’t want to meet me because I have enhanced boobs

If I add in that I’m heavily tattooed and piercings.....I’m never gonna get a meet

Hell yeah

I have real boobs and have just had them enhanced after 3 kids were nurtured on them lol. I have real nails and get those enhanced too and believe it or not my hair is not naturally pink I enhance it with colour

My skin is pale so I enhance it with tan and ink cos I like to express myself

Fake is more about the twofaced bullshit that people spout than what they do with their bodies

I suppose that the type of implants and surgical technique has changed over the years, much the same as any other cosmetic surgery.

I have no need nor desire for breast implants, but understand wht some women feel they need to.

Society places a lot of pressure on women (and men) to conform to the idea of beauty.

Nothing against surgery if its well done, I prefer the term enhanced as you are working with what you already have rather than replacing what you have, if that makes sense. Personally speaking, I've had nothing done nor do I wish to. I understand there are many reasons why people do though.

Whether breasts are enhanced is a matter of subjectivity.

They are definitely NOT what nature dealt.

I think fake is a pretty good description as what is used to 'enhance' boobs isn't really a 'natural' material ( as far as im aware )

It's really no ones business but the boob's owners. So many parts of the body are 'enhanced' these days.......

eyes, teeth , hair , limbs, gunts , vaginas , nails, noses, lips ...... endless really.

I guess basic make up is an enhancement ..... as is brylcreem...

It seems that the term fake is used in a derogatory way... It also shows to me the ignorance and limited vocabulary of the poster.

If they are not sensitive to the many many reasons that surgery is required then we don't really want to know them. We use that sort of language as a filter... Like untidy backgrounds in photos.

I think they look great, and have no problem with any sort of enhancement - for guys or gals - if that's what the person wants...

I haven't had any cosmetic surgery. God knows I could do with some though.

I think people who do go under the knife etc are to be commended. They changed something because they chose to. it's their body and completely their right. I'm not sure why anyone feels it's ok to slate anyone based on how they look. However it says far more about them than the person they mock.

I understand why you would feel that way though. I guess while it may only be a word it can still hurt. We all have our triggers

Another person who doesn’t like having their breasts referred to as fake then which proves my point that it is offensive.
