.. why?
What makes where you live so blinking fab? (lower case f!)
Me? Well, erm, the Queen lives down the road!
Ok I had to cheat a bit as I can’t think of too many huge selling points for where I *actually* live! |

I can be in central London within 30 minutes of leaving my front door. And I can be out walking in fields within 5 minutes of leaving my front door. To me that;s the perfect balance |

I can sit in my garden and look at the South Downs listen to the birds sheep and cows or take a ten minute drive to get to the seafront. 75 mins by train to Victoria/40 mins to Gatwick.
Plus gorgeous countryside another ten minutes drive away in the opposite direction. |

I hate where I live, the back end of of nowhere, nothing to do and anti social residents.
Luckily will be leaving within the next couple of months.
Can't wait |

Land Rover's galore, clay pigeon shooting, locally produced real ale, Barbour apparel, vast rural open space / acres, the smell of open fires and log burners during wintertime, and Jeremy Kyle types nowhere to be seen!
...simply lush! |

It's the sunshine coast! Beautiful beaches including 3 nudist beaches, incredible countryside and a growing community of forward thinking individuals....what's not to love!

I think 'bloody great' might be stretching it a bit far but I feel very fortunate to regularly see red kites above my garden and in the surrounding area, and though minutes away from countryside can access both London and Cambridge very easily too. |

It's not great.
It's convenient for getting into London-which is why it's being developed to within an inch of it's life, and waved under the noses of people who want to work in London but can't afford the property prices, or private rents.
This is pushing up property prices here to the tune of £545k for a 4 bed house near to the Thames.

If I head south from my front, I'm on the beach in a couple of minutes
If I head north I'm on the South Downs in under 5minutes.
The countryside around here is stunning, I can cycle for hours either off or on road, go paddleboarding, kayaking swimming or diving all summer.
It's a nice little village, everyone is friendly - they accepted a dodgy Midlander!
Yet only a few miles from the bright lights of Brighton and an hour on the train from London.
Yes, I like where I live.

Odd shaped balls!"
I don't see the point in a predictable bounce |

I've always felt most at home in the area where I live.
I'm close to the coast too.
As for my home, it's a very peaceful street and, as there are allotments behind my back garden, I'm not overlooked either.
Just love it here |

It's great to feel superior to the local inbred population. The women have looks of men but with better hair.
I'm sure before the internet the Saturday night's entertainment was playing spin the bottle and see who got Granny...
They are all big family... |

I'm 15 minutes from the City Centre
I'm 15 minutes from my parents
I'm 25 minutes by car from work
I am 5 minutes from a motorway
I am no more than 30 minutes to open countryside
I have a tram stop and a bus stop within a 2 minute walk
There are 4 major supermarkets within a 3 minute drive or a 15 minute walk
There is a small town centre 10 minutes walk away
There is an off licence within a 2 minute walk
Most importantly, there's a great chippy at the end of the street |

‘Ow am ya? TH’s family are from the Black Country - I’m just about used to them now
I used to really love where I live - less than a 2 mile walk to an AONB & great national trust property - but our town centre is slowly dying for retails parks on the outskirts.
I dream of a small holding so he can have his perfect garden space with lots of room for dogs or a home from home kennels |

#convenient
Mine is similar and ticks a few of those. I am enjoying mixture of city life and countryside. Getting the best of both. |
