I thought I would start a thread on this subject to see what people think.

Also is this right place for people to reach out?

People usually do listen and offer some words of advice but we aren't trained professionals so it's more of a support group

Morning pal.

There have already been a few threads that I've seen discussing mental health. On checking on them I've seen that people here are great listeners and always happy to give any advice they can on the subject.

Personally I think in today's day and age more and more people are under pressure and expected to deal with it by themselves and therefore most maybe don't discuss the topic when they really should be seeking advice. Sometimes just asking for help is the first step towards achieving a healthy and stable mind. I problem shared is a problem halved as the saying goes.

As Zipper has said, recognising issues is the first step, seeking proper professional advice is always best. It's such a wide spectrum but its always good to talk.

I do think some people would be supportive here yes. I would suggest cognitive behavioural therapy

It's ok not to be ok...we all go through periods in life that takes a toll on our mental health.

The best thing is to find people you can turn too....
