"Personally, I'm not a fan of tattoo's on either sex.
I just don't see why anybody would want to permanently ink themselves.
Just my opinion of course.
Agreed"
Doubly agree |

"I have hidden ones that I do regret and hide
I love them on other people but for me they weren’t the right tattoos so in the process of laser. "
I think the realisation dawned on me when we had a very posh RAF dinner to go to and I had to cover my back. I had to buy cover up makeup which back then wasn’t very good and was concerned all night it was going to show my tattoo. |

We don’t like them. Neither got one, niether want one.
Don’t need kids names on my leg to remember them. Don’t need a mark that turns to looking like an ink spill in three years.
Each to their own but nope...and old fashioned, think a lovely dress on a woman is ruined by tat |

"Yes it may look like a Rembrandt and 30 years later like a Jackson pollock "
Tend to agree with this. Have you looked at many ex-service men (not all jolly tars) with a tat that is 30 odd years old? By then it's a sort of vague blue amorphous splodge. "Where did you get your tattoo Granny?" What's your answer? |

I don’t have any, I’ve never been interested and am the only female I know in real life without them!
J has none either.
I can appreciate them on others but there’s nothing I want on my body for the rest of my life. |

"Whenever there have been pro tattoo threads, I don't recall any of the folk with ink being derogatory about those that do not have any... Funny that"
Don’t think people are being derogatory just their personal viewpoint |

Then we have different ideas on the definition of derogatory |

Erm that's not strictly correct. |

"i have one on my side which ia a blossom tree that represents the family i have lost and i have my kids name woven into it"
That sounds lovely.
If I had a nice body I would have cherry blossom winding from one shoulder, down my spine and across to the opposite side at my waist.
I'm fat though, so I haven't bothered. |

"Hate tattoos on females, makes them look like a male, wrecks the female body look"
That's me screwed then when it comes to looking female haha.
Tattoos aren't everyone's cup of tea and I appreciate that. Each to their own |

My feet are tattooed. I don't think it makes me look like a man. "
I don't think I look like a male for having them it's each to their own. |

"Hate tattoos on females, makes them look like a male, wrecks the female body look"
I think you’ve been looking at the wrong women then. I have the most amazing piece of art on my back, I do not look like a man and neither do I care how it will look when I’m old and wrinkly. My tattoos are part of my life story. It does not bother me if others have tattoos or not, the only thing that puts me off are badly done inks |

Obviously several people who've commented their distaste for ink on this thread, failed to spot my artwork pics before messaging me. "

I will be more worried about if I can wipe my own butt or not than what mine look like...took a long time to choose and to have done but happy with what I have
And I don't mind either way if someone has them or not it so long as they can hold a conversation and intrigue me |

Rubbish. I wouldn’t want any myself but I don’t agree with that comment! Most of my friends have them and my daughter has quite a few. Doesn’t make them any less female |

Or does it make males without tattoos look like females? |

I'm no longer a "girl" and think I'm too old for a tattoo. I have a friend who's heavily inked, in colour, and it's really quite beautiful, but I would never get one. Just my preference. |

"I know tattoos are en vogue at the moment, but are there any girls without them or don’t like them? "
I don't have any and don't want it ether. I like it on a guy or certainly girls, like the 1950s look ones ... They look good with them. |

I’m not judging at all, just my preference without. I can certainly appreciate the artistic skills of the tattooist |

Neither of us have any tattoos! I (Mrs) have thought about it over the years but I reckon it will hurt so never have!! Lol!
Someone having tattoos wouldn't put us off from meeting them....unless maybe they were covered in them, especially if on the face!! Some tattoos in the right places, on the right person can be very sexy!!

I don't have any & I'm glad! I like my virgin skin.
Mr has a few small ones from his teenage years. He's planning on changing them up as he feels they're quite juvenile and poorly done. |

I have 3.
Lower back, right shoulder (want this one covered) and left forearm. In 30 years time, I will be glad to still be breathing, rather than worry about my skin going wrinkly.
I like tattoos, I want more.

I don't have any myself, but I quite like them on others. Main reason I've never got one is I've always got something else I want to spend my cash on. Guitars, bits for my cars, travel blah blah blah |

"Hate tattoos on females, makes them look like a male, wrecks the female body look"
I have sternum, ribs, legs, back, sleeve and various other tattoos but have never described as 'looking like a male'
If people like them..great, if people don't.. great! It wouldn't bother me either way whether they did or not.
The post about why would you want to ink your skin...why do people dye their hair? Why do people get surgery? Why do people do half the stuff they do? Self expression |

So true I'll be wondering whether I'm at the right care home and if I've got knickers on at that age not what I've got tattooed on me |

I don't have any and not planning on doing any.
Not particularly fuss about them either. If I fancy the girl's face and personality, the tattoos wouldn't put me off, unless it is the face of trump on the pussy with the pussy's lips mocking trump saying 'Folks' then it would put me off |

Neither of us have any and never liked them, will never have any either. It's quite rare to see any that we like on others, the odd sleeve perhaps because of the obvious skill of the tattooist but that's as far as it goes. |
