Arranged a meet, well in advance, for tonight with 2 people. Wife been for her waxing, hair done etc. - then last minute "can't make it" from both.
This is about the 4th time this has happened now over the last 6 months.
We met on the site 5 years ago and, thereafter for a couple of years, never experienced this problem and met lots of lovely people.
We note the ones we met previously have drifted away from Fab - something's certainly happened to the site over the last few years - not a patch on what it was from a "meeting" perspective.
We have to ask ourselves now, is the time and trouble to a) arrange a meet and b) then go to a lot of trouble getting ready.. really worth it anymore?

Sadly only you can answer that OP. I will say though that it does happen to everyone from time to time. I had a period a few years ago where out of ten meets, nine were cancelled for various reasons. |

I had the same before Christmas, several short notice cancellations, constantly getting messed about.
No idea why, I’d done nothing different and it hadn’t happened to me before. I didn’t bother with meets for a couple of weeks, and now everything’s back to normal. I’ve met some great people with no problems
It’s just one of those things you can’t explain Really annoying though, I know how you’re feeling x |

My Wife Spoke to a guy, made a new aqaintance by text. A few days later met for a coffee , and within a week we’ve all made friends after meeting up.
The site isn’t all bad, just be careful and out the none genuine people.
Life is what you make it, and the same could be said about FAB. |

I'm sorry you were let down Op and can only imagine the disappointment the both of you must be feeling
It's a tough one to be honest and there isn't a right answer I suppose. When meets are highly anticipated and do happen it's a fabulous experience. Complete opposite when it doesn't...
I've gone with my gut feeling after some time of intense back and forth to gauge wether things could work out well. Happy to say it's not failed me yet.
Chin up and move on. I would agree that as a couple, clubs are probably a better option anyway |

"Maybe go to a swingers club instead."
Unfortunately, we don't like Swingers' Clubs - too much of a cattle market mentality for us. Much prefer small, intimate gatherings at ours or elsewhere - we're going to give it a good few months break from here now - good luck all. |

where herds of men follow you and your missus around everywhere hoping for a shag - usually what happens at Swingers' Clubs - unless you go on a couples only night. |
