Hi everyone,
I have posted on one or two threads but Im normally a lurker but I just wanted to say tonight thank you to all the people that supported me over the last 3 months while Ive had cancer, you cant know how much that meant to me.
I also want to thank the lovely forumites that have given me so much pleasure while Ive been lucking in the background, you just dont know the times Ive almost wet myself, cried with laughter or spat coffee at my computer screen. I will miss you all.
I had a cancerous tumour removed before christmas and had the news this friday that it clear and everythings fine.
Im leaving the site tonight because I now find it doesnt fit well with my new church life but wish you all well

Well done on beating the dreaded C I have fought it twice now and expect to fight it again in the future. so I know the drill and what you have had to deal with.
All the very best, and remember this is a fresh chance at life, so get out there and live it.
Do some good if you wish, try not to do too much harm in the process, but most of all Have fun |

Great to see the response to your post Sylvia, now you know that they're not all users and abusers!
Sad to hear that some of your so-called friends have just been fair weather ones, but the real ones will stay with you.
All the very best to you as you set out on your new life, and always remember the footprints in the sand. He'll never desert you!!

With all the cynicism these days across the world, your news was so heart warming and a change from all the bad news we see and hear these days.
I wish you the very best in what you wish for in the future.

I thought I couldnt cry anymore but I just did. Thank you all so much it means a lot to me reading all your replies I didnt expect so much love from you all.
