I just wanted you all to know, people are obviously keen to get the word out as so many people are now posting it on their profile on here.
Whatever happened to good old Sydney university? Now it's a Facebook disclaimer.Do people not read their own profiles, never mind other people's, do they not know they're not on Facebook? |

They use them to fill out their nonexistent profile, same as with the sydney university disclaimer..
I personally think they think if people read it then they are being responsible so they have more chance of getting a shag |

This is from the FAQ page on this site:
"We've noticed a legal disclaimer paragraph that some people have on their profiles. Should we have one too? What are they about? Do they do any good?
The "legal disclaimer" is pointless nonsense and all does is take up extra space on our servers. Please remove it if you have it on your profile. If you're worried about privacy please set your account to be hidden from non-registered users on your privacy page (this also hides it from search engines but may take a week or two to drop out of search) and remove the notice (and encourage others to do likewise).
Common sense advice would be NOT to put any information on your profile (here, or on any such site) that could identify you or that you don't want to become public! So for your own benefit, don't post phone numbers, real names or email / instant message addresses on your profile that people might see or "Google".
Some people may put non-identifying pics on their public profile but keep face pics private or for friends, for example." |

"It’s rubbish!
Facebook has been a publicly traded entity since 2012, if you post pictures on there they are still yours. Your own privacy settings control what Facebook can do with them."
No facebooks terms are if you put a pic om there they own the copy right etc |

No, they are your pictures and you retain ownership. They can do what they want with them though, should they see fit. They have privacy clauses surrounding intellectual property rights regarding photos but they do not own them. |

the point I'm trying to make is absolutely loads of Fab profiles have the Facebook disclaimer on them, they are not on Facebook they are on Fab... Regardless of the fact that I don't feel the disclaimer is worth the time it takes to copy and paste it. |
