FALSE VERIFICATION OF MEETINGS

I see looking back that this has been brought up before. I got a message from a guy to meet us as a couple. I looked at his veris and recognised the user name of a couple I had been chatting to. The wording of the veri didn't sound like the couple so I asked them if they had infact sent it. They came back to say he was a pest and they certainly had not written the verification of visit. Can't the site admin do something about these people - it undermines any trust or confidence.

How could he have a verification from that couple if they didn't write it?

That's what I was thinking!

Sounds a bit odd.

I think they did write him a veri even if they told you they didn't.

If he set up a fake account with an almost same name then that's possible. He could verify anything he wants once his sockpuppet account is verified by him.

Maybe he became a pest after they verified him?

Only other explanation would be that he guessed their password and hacked their account?

From what they've divulged in the OP, that seems to be the logical conclusion.

Same here. They accepted it, displayed it as a badge of honour in the hope of attracting more meets (I'm guessing) but slaged him when questioned. What's the conclusion you've come to regarding the couple, op? We know ours.

Nonsense.

They verified him.

The only way a verification from a certain profile can be displayed is if that profile wrote it.

If you think someone is giving or asking for false verifications report the profile
