"I've been on fab on and off for years but never really got why folks but the disclaimer regarding Sydney University.
Anyone care to elaborate? "
Yes it saves them having to write an actual profile..
They just copy and paste that shite in and job done |

I remember a similar "disclaimer" doing the rounds on social media years ago & everyone seemed to be copy & pasting. Being an eternal cynic I didn't bother. Don't know who starts these things or why (scare tactics? bored & wanted a laugh?). It's all complete nonsense. Check out FAQ on here, it's meaningless & takes up room on the servers, they actually ask for anyone displaying it to remove it, but each to their own. |

in 2005 or there abouts there was around 30 2nd year students studying for a sociology degree at of course Sydney university.
One of the projects was swinging relationships and they hit on this site with great interest.
contacting couples and singles with temporary accounts and copy n pasting profiles not to mention the infringement of copying and using people's photos for there own project.
It was massive infringement of privacy and back then nobody had any type of legal warning - hopefully this answers your question . |

It's a true story.
They didn't just look here. They joined pretty much every sex/swingers site online at the time.
They still offer a 'Sex and Society' course now.
Certainly beats accountancy for laughs but I doubt it'll lead to a good career.
