Well, I remember that there was life before mobile phones (and the big pager fad), but I just can't remember how it possibly could have worked. I imagine it's a similar principle with oven chips

b4 oven chips ,,,,,,, i remember the chip pan ,, sat permantenly on the cooker ,,, looked like a scene from a quatermass movie ,, a big blob ,, sat there ,,, ever present on the cooker ,,, no drainer ,, , no kitchen towels ,,, just big greasy chips and eggs ,, ohh and spam ,,, not the stuff on here ,, the horrid stuff in tins

Yeah life existed alright, I remember me Granny dumping a pile of lard into the chip pan then waiting yonks for it to melt - bloody lovely chips though, and the cholestorol value must have been massive ..

Those were the days

Now, it's McCains Homefires for us, in the oven, good and healthy
