I tried making my own years ago and it was always hit and miss.

Aunt Bessie makes things so much easier. Chuck em in the oven for four minutes. Simples.

I'm ace at making Yorkshire puddings, they're like something from the quatermass experiment as they take over the oven.

Just make it up as usual, put the meat in the oven until about half hour off being done, pour the batter in the pan, cook it until it looks how you want it... I like when the bit around the meat is still soft and the edges are well risen n crispy... But not charcoal

Dear Lord! My Grandmother would be turning in her grave reading this!

Yoyrkshire Pudding was always always cooked in a square tin and served in slices with gravy BEFORE the Sunday Roast. The idea was to fill you up before the meagre helping of meat and two veg was presented.

I don't think, that as a proud Yorkshire woman, she ever ate or even entertained a round yorkshire pudding!

After all the chocolate and food I ate over Christmas, I’m a bit of a Yorkshire pudding myself just now

"I like proper Yorkshire pudding, cooked around the meat, not in a bloody muffin tin

That's fine unless your cooking for more than six people, otherwise it will have to be the bloody muffin tins again lol."

You would be surprised how well it stretches... All depending on the size of your roasting tin

Ohh! Nice of heard of it but haven’t tried it. Do you know the method?

Just make it up as usual, put the meat in the oven until about half hour off being done, pour the batter in the pan, cook it until it looks how you want it... I like when the bit around the meat is still soft and the edges are well risen n crispy... But not charcoal

Thank you!

I will try this.. Results will be on a postcard "

Just make sure you make enough to get it to rise and not be too flat in the middle... Shouldn't be a pancake

"Nope, need to get the oil really hot to get a good rise on them. I have given up making them I always end up with a soggy bottom!!"

Oil need to be smoking so try putting it on the hob soon as you take it out the oven to keep the heat

I know, also if you had sliced onions to the pan and mix it with the batter it's scrumptious.
