How do you escape reality?.
Jump to: Newest in thread
Ever since I (mr) was 14 I’ve always escaped into music, sometimes listening but mainly playing guitar, it takes me miles away which annoys the wife she can’t get an answer from me once I pick “that bloody thing” (as she calls it) up! Bless her x |

I'm quite happy in my reality at the moment, everything ticking along just fine
If I do need to get away from it all though, then a run always does the trick |

I read to escape from my reality it really focuses my mind into the book, I also watch a lot of films because I can focus on them too
I’ve also found that talking to someone about something ridiculously mundane can distract me quite well from reality |

"This question is backwards.
Everything listed here is real life!
What are you doing that gets in the way of doing what you really enjoy?"
Not sure how you figure that... Unless I manage to get really exceptionally brilliant at surfing to the point someone will pay me to do it, it's not my everyday real life. |

My point is that we have this idea of real life that's totally backwards.
Is the typically menial office work more real than riding nature's waves? |

"I walk on the beach, find a nice spot & just sit and stare at the waves.
There's something very hypnotic & soothing about that, that can totaly relax me when I'm stressed "
You too!
I used to put on heels, but that’s more reality than anything now.
So escape, watch the waves, the birds, the wind... |
