Any hints of how to get a message reply
I’ve sent some messages and never hear back and I appreciate I may not be everyone’s type but what kind of message do people expect

Be polite, put yourself in the shoes of the other person/s. Of it's a couple enquire about both of them. Be honest. Don't be crude or crass. Don't be arrogant. Tell them a bit about you, what you're looking for and why you chose to message them.. instead of everyone else. |

There isn't a key. There are things you can do to improve your chances.
Read the profile to ensure you are compatible. That means you fit what they want and they fit what you want. I know that's obvious but you'd be surprised...
If they ask for a face picture with first message and you're comfortable with it, send one.
If they ask you to jump through hoops eg put elephant in the message title, send a pic with you touching your nose and you don't want to do it, don't send a message anyway.
Make your first message brief but include something that is a conversation starter.

For me the first message needs to be funny, eye-catching, maybe cheeky but not crude.
I can tell a cut and paste message a mile off, so try to tailor it to whoever you are messaging.
I like clear, interesting photos.A load of cock shots are off putting.
Then the profile needs to have some thought gone into it and be positive, not a list of negative stuff.

I hate cock pics being sent to me, my profile states I don’t want them, but others may like them.
And I’m unsure, I check all my messages before deleting, but I also do a bulk delete weekly (I just check them all on a free evening). Maybe send one more, and if you still don’t hear anything, don’t message again.

There is no catch all formula OP but as others have said people will often look at a profile before even opening a message let alone replying to it, so make sure yours is up to scratch and written with enough detail to pique people's interest enough to want to open the message.
But then you know all that as I can remember your previous profile and the number of times you posted threads like this |

This time, you have only been on here for a week. Did you expect masses of replies? Women swooning and falling at your feet?
Your profile is 5 lines long. It says nothing to attract potential meets. You need to say what you seek AND what you can contribute too.
You can't accommodate but don't say why, which makes people cautious.

I prefer messages that suggest that the sender has a fairly good grasp of me, which would mean they've taken some time to learn intuitively and that they are potentially a match.
This may sound self-obsessed - the more the message is about me and conversely, the less it is about how I will serve their needs, the more I'm open to reading. I don't like demanding tones as I prefer a friendly style.
Appear open and flexible as well as inquisitive - and preferably with a profile that reflects what you present in your message.
Never appear needy or demanding but show positivity. Focus on your profile as I always look at it, often before reflecting on the message sent. Have a good range of pics, to help me gauge attraction. |

One tip, pictures go in the order you upload them
So when people click your pics the first thing they see is a close up cock shot.

You may well be here for that, but don't make your messages about that. Make it interesting, your title is quite important as often that is the only thing people will even bother reading. Use the title and first line of the message to draw the reader in.
Make then feel it is then you are interested in, not that you just want a shag.
As many others say on all these sorts of threads, read their profile and tailor your message to their profile, nothing worse than cut and paste stock messages. They show a lack of effort and imagination

Be persistent. If they don't reply to the initial message send 30 others. Best to insult them around message three. Apologise in message nine. Insult again around 17, block if you wish after thirty.

I think when people say time waster theyre obviously referring to the fake pic hunting profiles or the people who arrange meets then never turn up.
