A man or woman on Fab was taking steroids to bulk up purely to make themselves appear more attractive to their preferred partners?

Would this concern you? Do you understand the implications of steroid use on the user? Would it effect your decision to meet them if you knew beforehand? Could you even recognise it???

I only ask because I see more than a few females fawning over bodies I'm sure are unnaturally out of all proportion. I feel a slight bit of concern for those men who feel that they need to resort to such measures to attract a mate.

I think it's the age of media and shitty trash tv that makes people think they have to look a certain way.

But a steroid body won't be a great body for ever and can turn the nicest people into the biggest knobheads.

A well defined natural physique is much more attractive.

Some do, some don't. Even if none did, would that effect your decision?

Interesting Topic as usual OP.

A few lads used roids inside... Dianabol mainly but a few also went to the veins.

Im pretty scared of drugs in general and its a drug.

And a form of addiction happens with steroids.

Would it put me off someone.. Yeah i think it would.

But mainly thats fear of the unknown.

Steroids are drugs.

We DON'T meet people who are on drugs or take drugs. No exception's.

That's our stance.

The dangers are there but of the pressure people feel they have to maintain an appearance to be socially accepted.

Same with plastic surgery more men feel the need to change themselves without thinking the long-term effects.

I was constantly drug tested when racing and sometimes they would turn up at 4 am and would demand a urine and hair sample. Sometimes I was tested 4 times in two weeks so I couldn't even have a headache tablet as codine was banned.

I do understand those wanting to take drugs to achieve a look but the risks are just not worth it.

As usual Thankyou

That's a wise answer "Fear of the unknown" Is one of my favourite phrases.

You're touching on the area I'm trying to focus on.. the negative effects on the users. Mood swings, low self esteem, false sense of confidence, kidney and organ damage.

I'm a smoker, so I've no room to criticise people over bad habits. Mine is very rarely glamourised these days though and often seen as a negative factor on meeting me. Understandably so.

I think the Marvel films and rise of lust women, TV's and men have in characters like The Cap' and Thor. Vikings and Barbarian sex gods. Much like women are often compared to porn stars and actresses and singers.

Sorry state of affairs

I was with a woman once whos clit was humongous I've never seen anything like it!

She told me later that her and her husband have been taking steroids to bulk up and that that was a side effect

I really don't care. What always makes me laugh is when they deny it and you can tell from their eyes and facial expressions/body language.

Agreed. We were tested in military and I never once saw some of the unnatural shapes I see on Fab. It was rife in the US Marines we met though.

If our athletes and forces can do it naturally, surely that's the route we should all be following?

Yes it most definately is with a certain older form of steroids. Which is why if you look at muscle porn, most of the 90's female actors have an abnormally large clitoris.

Stooped shoulders, mumbling defensiveness, not holding eye contact No never had that conversation with my mates before

Northampton Somewhere

I met a guy once who after we had ahem, had sex, and were chatting in the kitchen started popping pills (around 8 I recall). I looked over and saw the stereotypical body builder pose in a framed pic, that was him 4 years prior.

Steroids scare me, I didn't go back!! But it's up to the individual what they put into their bodies.

It is. I guess I just want these guys to read this thread and see that we're not all as shallow as they think we are and that we'd rather they didn't damage their bodies for our sake. Men and women alike.

I think they must be doing it mostly for themselves though rather than just be attractive to others?

Exactly this. I doubt that people do it solely for sex, I think that people who look to achieve that kind of form do so for a very personal form of vanity, I doubt that others opinions are really of much weight

I used to live with someone that uses steroids, for most people it's purely an aesthetic thing or a way to bulk quickly, then you stop taking them and just maintain the muscle mass you've gained. It alway seemed like way too much effort, you have to take so many other supplements to cancel out the negative effects of steroids, all hormone pills and water strippers, etc

I'm not a fan of anything like this. People trying to please others or trying to be someone they are not. This goes for men and women. They are not true representations of the individual. It is rife and big business.

Men. If you want a fit athletic body with abs. Do the work, earn it and it will be you. This fake ab implants, shaving eyebrows(pet hate), steroids. It's all lies. Dishonest.

Women. Caked with makeup, mental hair extensions, fake lashes, fake eyebrows(some of these are just hideous. Faces turning into cartoons!) Corsets, pics from above....you get the picture.

Both men and women getting plastic surgery to look better.

I like natural. I respect natural.

Each to their own though. If you want to do it. Go ahead. I wouldn't dream of saying to anyone. It's not my place and not my life. I take responsibility for mine not others.

Parts of me were itching when reading that Given I change my own appearance quite drastically for sex. I don't do it for anyone else's pleasure than my own though. I don't do it to attract, it adds something when I'm in the mood. I'm equally happy as I am normally though, playing with the same people. I had to read to the end before realising I agree with most of what you're saying. Though I think things like makeup, brows and general presentation aren't things to get too upset over. More things that damage someone's physical and mental wellbeing.
