personality for me plus someone that can make me laugh. Obviously there some faces i find unattractive but im happy with a pleasant face. Body im not botbered about but not vastly overweight

The people I tend to be attracted to the most wind up being the ones I didn’t think I would be attracted to. I can never call it. Attraction happens with the most unexpected of people and I’m sunk.

I had a meet with a guy on here that I found to be absolutely gorgeous and he told me afterwards that I did him a lot of good because the last two people to see him had said he was "ugly".

I always look for face and personality. They don't have to be models, I'm no oil painting myself haha. Body isn't a consideration.

A lot of it is actual biology and chemical reactions involving pheromones... simple and virtually autonomous body language. We're not as in control of who we are attracted to as it has been put on this thread. It all changes with age and hormones too ... it's partly why we look for more mental/intellectual connection as we get older

Personality and attitude is always a game changer.

It enhances or detracts physical attractiveness. It obviously has its limits. But it most definitely changes how I see others.

No it's not enough on its own but it helps. A lot of women are quite coy and that doesn't really work with me, I'm not very forward at all so a woman who wants me and is happy to let me know gets a thumbs up.

Online, all you have to go on immediately is a picture and/or few words...

So if the picture is of the aesthetically pleasing face or upper body that’s a good start for most of us whether or not we admit it as the internet enables more of a shallow nature.

Personally then, if I think ooh he’s nice looking or hmm nice picture, the attraction comes from articulate, intelligent and very witty personalities that are willing to make a little effort or at least match mine.

A person may have attractive pictures on here but not be attractive physically in person.

A person who may be physically attractive may not have an attractive personality.

An a person with an attractive personality may be a absolute bitch/bastard when you scratch the surface.

The real question is what do you find attractive in a person

I find can see that quite a few people are attractive in various ways but I don't find myself attracted to them.

What makes me attracted to someone is a cheeky sort of humour, confidence, an accent that's not like mine. Big noses.

I like people who are "fun" to be around and I can relax and be myself with them. So how a person makes me feel affects how attracted I am to them I guess.
