Inspired by the Shake it up baby thread. The soundtrack can really make a movie for me.
Stay - Lisa Loeb (Reality Bites)
The Power of Love - Huey Lewis and The News (Back To The Future)
Son of a Preacher Man - Dusty Springfield (Pulp Fiction)
Atomic - Blondie (Trainspotting)
And the ‘oh yeah’ song from Ferris Bueller
What’s your favourite movie track?

There and to the left a bit |
To be honest the whole Pulp Fiction soundtrack is perfect although of those I'd pick You Never Can Tell as my song of the film.
Moulin Rouge has an awesome soundtrack.
Huge fan of theme tunes generally, and they really can make a film sometimes - a few off the top of my head:
Self Preservation Society - The Italian Job
Pirates Of The Caribbean - Main Theme
Avenues & Alleyways - Love, Honour & Obey
Who Wants To Live Forever - Highlander
Dambusters - Main Theme |

There's a few I could list, but to keep it brief...
Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins (Top Gun) (seriously, every flight I take this is on my headphones at take-off)
Gaston (Beauty and the Beast) (No-one thinks up these endless refrains like Gaston!)
Like A Virgin (Jim Broadbent & Richard Roxburgh) (A delightfully seedy interpretation of the song) |
