But thats not what i meant. What i meant was, is there a trend to a popular picture. Not just the obvious of a stunning subject but black and white, clothed, semi clothed etc

Take lots and lots of photos in lots of different positions and under different lighting.

Crop them to size.

Use one of the basic filters if you prefer the look in Sepia, Black and White etc. Don't Photoshop yourself too much though because people will expect what you're not.

If you can make it sexy and funny at the same time, you're onto a winner for sure.

Best one I've seen has a Smurf in it. Good props make me laugh.
